Frequently Asked Questions

How many are in each class?

To ensure that all of our swimmers get the best introduction to the water, our classes are limited to four adult and child pairs / independent swimmers.

Are the teachers in the water?

Our teachers are always ready to enter the water and will teach in the water where it is beneficial to do so.

What happens if I miss a lesson?

If you miss a lesson then we will do our best to arrange a catch up session on another day. Please note that we may have to limit the number of catch up sessions, depending on the logistics.

If you know that you will be absent, please notify us as soon as possible as this may affect our ability to arrange a suitable catch up session with another family (and equally if others notify us, it will assist us in arranging a catch up session for you).

Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for missed sessions.

Can I swim if either my child or myself is ill?

Please exercise your common sense when deciding whether or not to attend your lesson. It is not much fun to be in the water if you are ill and the same applies to your child. Also, by their nature, swimming pools are ripe ground for spreading viruses and infections, so if you wouldn't want someone to spread it to you and your child, please try and avoid spreading it to others.

If either you or your child have experienced vomiting and/or diarrhoea please wait at least 48 hours from the last symptom before coming to the pool.
